Mentoring Program

MENTORING PROGRAM: Project Venture

Maui Youth & Family Service's Project Venture Program is looking for high school students who want to be mentors for the remainder of the 2016-17 school and/or the upcoming 2017-18 school year. This program is run after school. They take out middle school youth to many different places around Maui. Activities include hiking, doing team building activities, doing community service projects, camping, swimming and more all while focusing on positive youth development. Students are picked up (around 2:10-2:15pm) and dropped off (generally between 5-5:30pm). More information & applications are available in B100.

Summer School for Credit Recovery

Maui High School will be holding Summer School. These courses are for credit recovery only. Summer School will run from June 5th-June 30th from 8:30am-12:30pm. Cost is $50 cash only. (Read more)

College Fair at Maui High, April 10th @ 4 PM

Maui High will be hosting a college fair on Monday, April 10 from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM in the gym. Over 70 colleges and universities from across the United States and overseas will participate in this fair, which is free of charge and open to the public. This is a great opportunity for students and parents to learn from the experts about the various colleges, including admission and scholarship information. A general college advising and financial aid center will also be available to students and their families to answer specific questions regarding the college admission process and financial aid. Aloha BackPack Buddies Program at MHS

The ALOHA BACK PACK BUDDIES program is available at Maui High School to qualifying students in need. This program of the Maui Food Bank provides a supplemental supply of easy-to-prepare food to students for the weekend. At Maui High, students on free/reduced lunch qualify for the program. It is based on first-come, first-served enrollment for qualifying students.

Contribute to Maui High's Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Buffet

Every year, on National Teacher Appreciation Day, the MHS Parent-Community Network Center coordinates a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Buffet. This event gives our parents, students, and community an opportunity to collectively give a token of appreciation to the outstanding staff and faculty we have here at Maui High School. E-School Registration for School Year 2017-18

E-School offers a variety of rigorous courses in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Health, and Fine Art. Students who are interested in registering for an Eschool course for the next school year should see their respective counselor beginning April 19, 2017.
